FAQs

  • As professional trainers, we use professional training tools, and it’s our job to teach you how to use these tools correctly. This includes flat collars, slip collars, prong collars, remote training collars, muzzles, 6’ leashes, 30’ leashes, crates or kennels, praise, play, and occasionally treats or food.

To ensure the highest success rate possible and the fastest acquisition of new skills, we use a combination of Classical Conditioning and all four quadrants of Operant Conditioning. This will vary based on the behaviors you’re trying to reinforce or inhibit.

These are the same tools and techniques that are used by world-class bird dog trainers, law enforcement and military dog handlers, top working-dog competitors, and service-dog trainers worldwide.

  • The fee for working with us generally ranges from $1,699 to $3,299.

We do not believe in the typical “pyramid model” of upselling multiple training programs, equipment, and services. If we both do our part, we should never see you again after you complete one of our training programs.

We offer a $100 discount for LEO/FD/EMS/MIL/VIP and industry professionals. We also offer a 50% multi-dog discount for each additional dog enrolled and training simultaneously.

We also offer payment plans for up to six-months for our Essentials and Behavioral training programs, and up to 12-months for our Protection Plus program.

  • It’s not uncommon for people to say, “I’ve tried everything.”, and to think the only way to find success is to send their dog away. The fact is, trainers are experts in dealing with dog behavior and will have no problem getting your dog under control. But what happens when the leash is handed back? If you don’t have the experience of training dogs, your dog will know it, and they can quickly fall back into old behavioral patterns.

To see long-term success in your dog’s behavior, you need to be involved in the training process. It doesn’t matter if you’re teaching a dog to stop barking at the door, to walk properly on a leash, to stop chewing the furniture, or to stop lunging at dogs and people as you walk down the street… YOU are the person who needs to be responsible for your dog.

  • This question is often accompanied with, “But the problem only happens in our home.”, or “We want you to see how bad it is.”

While we understand that pull, we also know firsthand how unhelpful and stressful it can be to share a confined space with a stranger (us) and a dog with behavior problems. Not to mention the safety and liability concerns of a dog who struggles with aggression or reactivity.

From our extensive experience, we get better results, faster, when our clients get their dogs out of the house and into a new environment where new learning can take place. We have more room to train, and can modify variables like distance, duration, and distraction based on the dog’s progress. Where appropriate, we can also layer in other variables like unfamiliar dogs and people. Additionally, you’ll be given homework to practice in-between sessions.

  • Yes! After completing one of our training programs, you, your family, and even your friends, will see a remarkable change in your dog. Not only will the behaviors that have caused you stress and worry be reduced, but the bond between you and your dog will be tighter; and with our Lifetime Support Guarantee, we’ll make sure it stays that way.
